About The owner

Decided to turn their passion into a business so they could share their love for pets with not only their own herd of dogs but with yours as well! They opened Paws on the River in late 2023 for Connie to start Grooming professionally, they quickly saw the need for boarding in Ruidoso so they moved forward in building a Boutique Boarding House for Dogs. And then the Summer fires and floods of Ruidoso hit right as they where about to open for Boarding. In the aftermath of the Fires and Floods they bought Thundering Paws and took over on August 1st, 2024. Paws on the River was minorly impacted by the floods, but they have almost gotten it back to its former glory, and are hoping to have the grand opening by Thanksgiving week! Meanwhile at Thundering Paws they are full speed ahead with Dog and Cat Boarding, Doggie Daycare and Professional Grooming. Connie has been training a couple apprentices so all baths performed by Thundering Paws staff have been stamped with her sign of Approval!
