⚠️ BINDING AGREEMENT THROUGH PAW PARTNER OR BOARDING ⚠️

By booking services through the Paw Partner app OR leaving your dog/cat at Paws on Lone Mesa Pet Ranch LLC dba Thundering Paws, you agree to ALL terms of this agreement and posted rates, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT SIGN A PAPER DOCUMENT. Using Paw Partner or drop-off = binding contract as if signed.

Payment and Release Policy

1. Payment in Full Required for Release

• All charges for boarding, daycare, grooming, medications, food, and any other services must be paid in full before any dog or cat is released to its owner or authorized representative.

• Current suite boarding rates are:

• $40.00 per dog per night for the first dog in a suite.

• $30.00 per dog per night for the second dog in the same household and same suite.

• $20.00 per dog per night for each additional dog in the same household and same suite.

• Current penthouse boarding rates are:

• $70.00 per dog per night for the first dog in a penthouse.

• $30.00 per dog per night for the second dog in the same household and same penthouse.

• $20.00 per dog per night for each additional dog in the same household and same penthouse.

• Accepted payment methods are those listed in our current rate sheet and may be updated from time to time, including cash, credit card, and debit card.

• Paws on Lone Mesa Pet Ranch LLC dba Thundering Paws reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require payment in cash only if there have been prior issues with the owner’s checks, credit cards, debit cards, chargebacks, or other payment disputes, either at our business or as reasonably known from other businesses. In such cases, the owner agrees to pay all amounts due in cash as a condition of the pet’s release.

2. Designated Pickup Date and Overage Charges

• At booking and/or check-in, the owner and Thundering Paws agree on an initial pickup date (“Designated Pickup Date”).

• If the pet is not picked up on or before the Designated Pickup Date, Thundering Paws will continue to board the pet at the then-current daily boarding rate (suite or penthouse as applicable), plus:

• Any additional food costs if the owner’s provided food is insufficient or if no food was provided; and

• Any additional care costs reasonably necessary for the pet’s health and safety.

• All such additional charges will be added to the owner’s account and must be paid in full before the pet is released.

3. Interest on Past-Due Amounts

• If the pet is not picked up and the account is not paid in full by the end of the Designated Pickup Date, the total outstanding balance will begin to accrue interest starting the next calendar day.

• Interest will accrue at the rate of 1.5% per day (not to exceed the maximum rate allowed by applicable law) on the unpaid balance until paid in full.

• Thundering Paws may revise the interest rate prospectively with written or posted notice.

4. Owner Contact and Failure to Pick Up

• If a pet is not picked up by the Initial Designated Pickup Date, Thundering Paws will attempt to contact the owner using the contact information provided in the Paw Partner scheduling app and/or on file (phone, text, email, and/or mail).

• The owner is responsible for keeping their contact information accurate and up to date.

• If the owner fails to pick up the pet or make satisfactory payment arrangements, Thundering Paws may exercise its rights under applicable law regarding animals left in its care after any required notices and waiting periods.

5. Lien, Abandonment, and Remedies

• The owner acknowledges that Thundering Paws has a possessory lien on the animal and any personal property left with the animal (such as collars, leashes, crates) for all unpaid charges for services provided.

• If the owner fails to pay all charges due and reclaim the pet within the time allowed by applicable law, and after any required written notice, the pet may be deemed abandoned and may be rehomed, transferred, or otherwise placed as permitted by law.

• Exercising these remedies does not relieve the owner of responsibility for outstanding balances, interest, and any permitted collection costs.

6. Collection Costs and Legal Fees

• If the owner’s account becomes delinquent and collection efforts are required, the owner will be responsible for reasonable collection costs, court costs, and attorney’s fees to the extent allowed by law.

Acknowledgment and Consent (Paw Partner and Boarding)

By either (a) confirming, booking, or modifying a reservation or service through the Paw Partner scheduling app or (b) leaving or permitting any dog or cat to remain at Paws on Lone Mesa Pet Ranch LLC dba Thundering Paws, the owner acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Payment and Release Policy and all other terms of the kennel agreement.

The owner understands and agrees that using Paw Partner to schedule services, or allowing a pet to stay at Thundering Paws, creates a binding contract on all terms of this agreement, including:

• Payment in full prior to release of the pet.

• Responsibility for suite/penthouse boarding charges ($40/$70 first dog, $30 second dog, $20 each additional) plus any additional boarding and food charges if not picked up by the Designated Pickup Date.

• Accrual of 1.5% daily interest on unpaid balances as allowed by law.

• Thundering Paws’ rights relating to liens, abandonment, and collection remedies.

The owner understands that not signing a physical copy does NOT avoid, cancel, or waive any obligations. By placing or leaving a pet in the custody of Thundering Paws, or by booking through Paw Partner, the owner consents to:

1. All posted and written rates and rules.

2. Thundering Paws’ right to continue boarding and charge fees past the Designated Pickup Date.

3. Thundering Paws’ right to treat unclaimed pets as abandoned per applicable law.
